Upcoming Parish luncheon at the Westernport Hotel, Hastings, on Tuesday 29 th September 2026 at 12noon. You are welcome to bring friends along. We order off the menu and pay for our own meals.

Presbytery – An invitation to joining a talk called, ‘the Conversation’ A talk about Mission and initiatives led by the very talented Rev Dr Julian Hamilton who comes from Northern Ireland. You will be able to understand him if you understand me. He is a very good speaker with good ideas about mission and outreach. Date: Friday 4 September 2026 at 5pm and the Venue: Presbytery Office, 1 Allan St Noble Park
A Prayer for Trust in God’s Justice
Almighty God, we come before you acknowledging the tension we feel between the brokenness of our everyday world and the perfect holiness of your kingdom.
We give thanks to you, and call upon your holy name. We sing your praises and remember the wonderful works you have done throughout generations. Thank you for sending your servants to lead us and for guiding us into your truth.
When we witness injustice, cruelty, and corrupt powers, keep our hearts from hardening. As you heard the cries of your people in Egypt, hear the prayers of your people today. Transform our hearts, Lord, so that we do not conform to the bitter patterns of this world, but instead reflect your grace, mercy, and peace.
Deliver us from the trap of anger and the desire for retaliation. Help us remember that you alone will judge all things. Grant us the courage to choose love over hatred, and to leave these things in your hands, trusting completely in your divine justice and love.
Strengthen us to follow Christ, even when it means carrying our own crosses in a world that does not understand your ways. May our lives praise you, now and forever.
